ARTHUR MORRIEN
Arthur Morrien, who joined Control Risks in 2004, is a Crisis & Security Management consultant. Based in Amsterdam, he is responsible for advising Control Risks clients on a wide range of security management issues. These include: security design and architecture; critical point auditing, incident analysis; and, supply chain and maritime security. Projects include audits and management advice regarding the security of office buildings, production sites and logistic facilities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Before joining Control Risks, Arthur worked for 8 years as a management consultant. He started his professional career as a risk management consultant with MarineSafety International and later with the National Aerospace Laboratory NLR. During this period, he specialised in risk analyses, internal auditing and quality management. In addition to his business risk consultancy experience, he worked for 3 years as a sales & account manager for a management consultancy firm, serving clients from both the profit and not-for-profit sector.
Arthur is a graduated Register Security Expert (RSE), and holds a master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Risk Management from the Twente University, The Netherlands. Part of his M.Sc. was earned at the National Technical University of Athens (Greece).
He is fluent in both Dutch and English, and has a good knowledge of German.
