Born in Sudan on 24th Feb 1954.
Qualifications: MB Bch, MRCPsych, BCPsych, DPM, DCAPsych, CBT-CERT, BAP-CERT.
Consultant in General Adult & Liaison Psychiatry, Child Psychiatrist and Cognitive Behaviour Therapist.
Founder and Chairperson of The Sudanese-International Academy.
Trustee of The Sudanese Autism Society.
Trustee of SUWGIA (Charity for providing clean water in incapacitated areas in Sudan).
Studied Primary and Secondary Schools in Sudan.
Graduated from Medicine 1980 from Cairo, Egypt.
Worked in Saudi Arabia as General Practitioner and Paediatric Registrar for 3 years.
Trained in Basic Psychiatry in Southend on Sea and Higher Training in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Worked as Consultant Psychiatrist & Clinical Lecturer at the RVI in Newcastle upon Tyne and University Hospital of North Tees and Newcastle and Durham Universities.
Worked as the Regional Tutor for Overseas Doctors from 1998-2004.
Worked as Royal College Tutor from 2001-2004.
I am a Trainer on the Train the Trainers Course.
I am a trained Mentor and a trainer. Has many research interests.
