Mr PATRICK FREDERICK, Aimex International

Mr Frederick is the owner and Chief Executive of Aimex International. He has a B.sc.(Hons) in Engineering (London) and an MBA Cass Business (London).  Born in the Caribbean (Dominica) and has 40 years experience with Smiths Industries plc (Engineering), J.P. Morgan Inc (Investment Banking) and runnibg his own Corporate Consultancy providing International corporate funding and advisory services to SME’s and UK Government.  He is also the CEO of Friends in the City (lLondon), and a Director an Adviser to various companies worldwide.  Mr Frederick is a member of the corporate and the SME Councils for the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) advising on policy and reviewing Government’s performance on “Encouraging more enterprise in disadvantaged communities and under-represented groups. Additionally, he is a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Entrepreneurship and the London Development Agency’s Private Investment Commission. Hr was formally the inaugural Chairman of the African Caribbean Business Network initiated by the Mayor o London, Adviser to the Creative Industries Commission and Non-Executive Director of SpringBoard4Business.
